Learn The Secrets Of Making Money Online

Quick Start

How to start your advertising campaign right away!

If you have ever tried a grassroots campaign to market your website, product or service through online message boards, you know that it can be a great way to generate traffic and sales. There are lots of benefits: it's free, you are communicating directly with your potential customers, and it creates hundreds of sites that are linking to you, which then show up in search engines as well.

It has its downsides too: being accused of spamming, trying to keep up with responses to your messages, and having to deal with all sorts of different message formats.

Thankfully, this software will fix all those problems and allow you to deliver highly effective campaigns quickly and easily.

Step One: Enter a message into the message editor. This message should be plain text, not HTML or any other bulletin board code. Later on, your message can be formatted into any number of different board codes automatically.

You should start all links with http:// so that the software will be able to find them and format them properly later on.

Step Two: Save your message by clicking the Save button. This way you can create multiple messages and load them at any time.

Step Three: Use the browser section of the program to go to a message board that is related to your product, service or website. You can find thousands of message boards on ezboard.com, or use your favorite search engine: enter relevant keywords plus “message board”, “bulletin board”, “UBB”, “Forums”, or other related terms. Once you have a found a forum you like, you may want to add it to the “Your Forums” tabs, which tracks your forums. You can enter a username/password for the forum for easy access in the future.

Step Four: Find the posting page for the bulletin board, where you can post a new message.

Step Five: Choose the proper format for the message from the dropdown box. You can choose from text, html, ezboard or ultimate bulletin board, or create your own.

Step Six: Click “Preview” to see how your message will look when formatted.

Step Seven: If you are happy with the formatting of the message, click “Auto-Insert”. This will automatically format the message that is currently in the Message Editor and insert it into the form on the posting page. If the message is not automatically inserted, just click on the message area of the posting page, and then click “Paste Message”. Afterwards, click the submit button on the posting page.

Step Eight: Pay attention to the “Your Posts” section of the program. Click “Watch this Post” while you are viewing the page your post appears on. This will watch your message for replies so that you can come back later and respond to your potential customers.

Watching replies has many benefits: If you respond to replies, not only will people appreciate it and not label you a “spammer”, but it will also boost your message back up to the top of the message board where more people will read it!

Repeat the process: Post your message all over the place. You will see a surge of activity on your website. Your posts will be added to search engines and people looking for products similar to yours will find them. Your site will increase its search engine ranking because of all the sites that link to you. Using this technique, our websites have grown exponentially, getting new members every day. Eventually you won't have to post any more messages at all!

More advanced features: Once you get the hang of the software, read through the rest of this help file for a more detailed overview of the software.

Program Controls

Auto-Insert or Paste Message as

This will automatically insert the message currently in the message editor into forms on posting pages, in the format you choose from the drop down box. If the message is not automatically inserted you can select the place on the form you would like for your message to be inserted, and then click “Paste Message”. Your formatted message will be pasted there.

Paste Buttons

There are a few different paste buttons in the program for pasting your message, subject, username or password into the browser. Just click anywhere on a webpage form that you would like to insert information, and click the Paste button next to that information.

Preview

This will show you exactly how your message will look once it is formatted.

Copy

You can copy your message in the selected format to the clipboard and paste it into posting pages if the software won't do it automatically (sometimes this can happen with frames), or even post it directly into emails formatted as HTML.

Save

This will save the message that is currently in the Message Editor.

Load

This will show all your saved messages. Double-click one to load it into the message editor.

Ad Text

The demo version of this software will insert this small ad at the end of all your messages.

Your Forums

You can keep track of your favorite forums, usernames and passwords here. When you are viewing a forum you want to add to your forum list, click the “Add Current URL” button. Afterwards, you can enter a username/password for that particular forum.

Click a forum's URL in the Your Forums list to view the username password for that forum. Double-click a forum's URL to go directly to that forum. You can paste your username and password into a forum's login page by clicking the form field on the login page that you would like to paste into, and then clicking the Paste button next to the information you want to paste.

Your Posts

This area of the software tracks all your posts and checks them for replies. Your posts should automatically be added to the list after you post them. If not, use the “Watch this post” button to add them.

New Replies

This button toggles the watched post list so that only posts with new replies are shown. The list will be empty until you hit the “Check for New Replies” button.

Check for New Replies

Click this to start checking for new replies. Any of your posts that have new replies will be displayed. You can double-click them to go directly to the post and view the new replies.

Browser

The browser section of the program works just like internet explorer. From here you can navigate to message boards, perform searches through your favorite search engine, or view your recent posts.

Program Options

Custom message templates

You can create your own templates for formatting messages. Once they are completed, they will be available in the drop down formatting list. Please follow the instructions on the options window to create your own templates. You will need an understanding of HTML, as well as the format you are trying to emulate.

You can delete existing templates by clicking the “Del” button next to the template you want to delete.

Internet Marketing Tips

Online Visibility Tip - Be Useful, Share Your Expertise on LinkedIn

It's no secret that LinkedIn is the largest business to business (B2B) online networking site. As a business owner, it's a good idea to set up a profile and boost your visibility so you're in front of your ideal target market. My favorite feature on LinkedIn is Answers. In this 4 minute video I share why I think using the Answers section is a powerful tactic for creating visibility. [Can't see the video? Click here.] Tip #1: Set up RSS feeds for the Answer categories you want to watch and add them to your feed reader. Check them daily to get first crack at answering questions in your industry. The first few answers get the most visibility. Are we connected on LinkedIn? If not, I invite you to connect with me there. Tip #2: When you send an invitation, include a note letting me know you saw this post and that's why you're connecting. Invites with notes get (beyond the generic "I want to add you to my professional network") more attention and faster acceptance. Do you have a visibility tip for using LinkedIn? Video Questions about Cameras, Lighting and Sets Answered

The questions about online video keep coming. A client sent me these questions and I figure many people can benefit from my response: 1. What camera are you now recommending – brand name and model? I answered this question about buying camcorders a couple days ago. My favorite continues to be the Flip HD. There are now so many variations that you really just have to pick the one that appeals to you most. My general recommendation is to buy the most you can afford. And I suggest going with HD (high definition) since so many of the video distribution sites are moving in that direction. 2. Where is it best to buy this video camera? I buy just about everything on Amazon. But shop around. You can find deals everywhere so I don't have a "best" recommendation. 3. Should I buy some lighting equipment? Hmmm. Lighting is not my expertise. Good lighting in video is important and it also depends on how you intend to use the videos. You may be able to get away with the lighting you have. Here's a video about lighting videos that may be helpful (thanks to an article by Mike Stelzner where I first saw the link!) 4. If I do a series of videos to the same audience, should I utilize the same setting and background for each video or mix it up? That depends. What kind of message and/or image do you want to project to your audience? Are you producing tips or something more akin to a regular "show"? Is your audience conservative or hip? What do you think they would want? (Hint: do a survey!) Gary Vaynerchuck's insanely successful Wine Library TV may be a good model. Gary shoots a show nearly every day and many are shot at the same location, but not all. Essentially, there are no rules. You need to figure out what you want to convey and then the best way to do that. Do you have any recommendations? How would you approach doing a video series?
